DigisuiteDTV & LX also feature

1394 Firewire DV I/O card and DVDit! SE authoring software included in the bundle Multi-format DV, DV50, and MPEG-2 native editing is supported. All DV formats are supported including JVC Digital-S (D-9), Panasonic DVCPRO and DVCPRO 50, Sony DVCAM, and the DV "Blue Book" spec. MPEG-2 4:2:2 I-frame variable bit rate editing between 10 and 50 Mbps per stream is provided. MPEG-2 4:2:2P@ML and MPEG-2 MP@ML transcoding and output are provided for distribution applications such as broadcast transmission, archiving, DVD authoring, and web video streaming. Optional SDI/SDTI interface card with eight embedded audio I/O channels supports faster than realtime DV and DV50 transfers. Additional codec onboard the SDTI card provides realtime print-to-disk, realtime SDTI output, realtime MPEG-to-DV transcoding, and realtime MPEG-to-MPEG transcoding. LX features are as per DTV, but limited to 25Mbps DV rather than 50Mbps. (ie No native DV50 or D9 support)

DigiSuiteMAX option

Available as an add on card, or bundled with DigiSuite LE, LX & DTV. The MAX option brings Matrox Flex3D technology to the DigiSuite range.

• Real Time 3D digital video effects plus one additional 2D effects channel
• IEEE1394(Firewire) for DV device control and audio-video I/O
• Real Time Mpeg2 encoding for DVD authoring
• Accelerated Mpeg1 encoding
• Blur, distortions, page curls, and perspective effects with drop shadows, soft edges and color borders

Matrox have annouced more new features to be included in the next driver release (due soon). The new drivers will bring single pass DV tape scan and capture, Realtime DV print to tape, and MediaExport for hardware-assisted web video encoding - RealVideo & Windows Media. Plus operational improvements to the DigiSuiteLE MAX.

Note: There is no MAX option for the full DigiSuite except with this version of INCITE
